Training

Training can help groups and organisations strengthen their ability to inspire people, connect with others and transform people and communities. I offer a range of training opportunities, each designed to equip you – as an individual or as part of an organisation or community group – with the skills needed to promote health and wellbeing.
This includes
- Understanding health and wellbeing
- Pastoral care skills
- Listening skills
- Bereavement care
- Introduction to mentoring and coaching
- Self-Care
- Children spiritual nourishment
- OutoftheBox Storytelling training.
Working in Partnership with You:
Each training event is tailored to your needs. I will discuss your aims with you so that the event will be designed in coordination with your expectations.
The training is led interactive and practical supported by theoretical understanding. So people will develop new knowledge and understanding of the subject. Each delegate will leave the event inspired to use their newly acquired skills.
The training is therefore:
- Foundational in its teaching
- Interactive in its training approach
- Reflective, providing space to listen and process what is being taught
- Challenging, as people gain skills required to enable others.
- Exciting, as peoples develop their skills and practice.
Coaching one to one

I offer mentoring from a Christian perspective, enabling God and the Holy Spirit to be heard as you develop every part of your life.
As I have worked across the NHS, churches and the charity sector I have discovered an gained a wide range of experiences to help people to have a Jesus-centred focus on the whole of their lives.
With a Certificate in Christian Mentoring from Cliff College and 6 years’ experience, here is some of the feedback I have received.
“Jennie mentored me for 3 years, and it was a fantastic experience. Throughout my time at university, Jennie offered me guidance, motivation and emotional support. We met most weeks and Jennie would help me to identify goals; both personal and professional, whilst also offering wisdom and insight whilst listening closely. Jennie’s constant support was an invaluable resource to me, and I can’t thank her enough.”
