I booked Jennie to talk at a study day for a group of complementary therapists at Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice. Our role is to support people with neurological disorders, bereaved families, those receiving end-of-life care, as well as staff and volunteers. Jennie knew exactly which listening skills we must utilise in different situations and took us through the importance of recognising the differences between empathy and sympathy. My team eagerly took on the information and the feedback has been excellent, many using the new skills with patients in the hospice and in their own lives.
